VOCAL ENSEMBLE GLAS (that means "Voice") was founded in February, 1997. in Zagreb (Croatia). From the beginning of the work, leader (artistic director) of the ensemble is Damir Šumečki. Vocal ensemble GLAS is a mixed ensemble with 12 singers. Ensemble sings a wide range of choral pieces: from the reneissance and baroque to contemporary music. Ensemble also sings arrangements of Croatian folk music.
